Where I snark crappy music and worry about strays

I feel a bit better now that I finished my exams...though I'm not sure how I did in Physical Chemistry of Doom.  But I'm pretty sure I passed, at least.

So now I turn my creative energy onto Crappy Music!  I swear, the latest batch of hit songs seems to be worse than usual.  "Beautiful" is good, but that's about it.

Most unfortunately, back in January someone donated an old clock radio to the bathroom.  So almost every time I go in there, my eardrums are assaulted!  And it's never any of the good Oldies stuff...it's either the Crappy Music Channel or some religion thing.  But I'll just stick to mocking the Crappy Music Channel (official name: G105)  Over the past few months, I have amassed a great deal of snarkage.  Here is a sample (my advance apologies if anyone likes these):

"Just Dance":

Okay, that music is TOTALLY ripping off the Brinstar Depths theme from SSBM.  And that person seems just like a Cher wannabe (and Cher wasn't even that good to begin with!)

"Love Story"

Taylor Swift:  IT'S A WUUUUVVVVVVEEEE STTTTOOOOOOOWWWWWWWYYYYYYY!!111!

Me: SHUT THE FUUUUCCCCCKKKKK UUUUPPPPPPPP!

"You Found Me"

Wait, is this about suicide? O.o

Don't Know What this one is:

It sounds like that woman is singing "Beautifly, Beautifly!"  Well, it wouldn't be the first time I hear Pokemon names in lyrics.  I used to think that Macy Gray sang, "I try to say goodbye to Machoke!"

Don't Know the Title to this Either:

Neat, the "Mya-ee, mya-oh" song is the same as the "HEEEEYYYYYEYYYYYYEYYYYY!" song.  Two earworms in one...what a bargain!

"Gives You Hell"

HOW CAN A FACE GIVE YOU HELL?!  Maybe I'm hearing things wrong again.

"Circus"

I don't exactly expect well-crafted metaphors in a Britney Spears song, but couldn't they at least think up something a bit more subtle than saying something is "just like the circus"?  Reminds me of the oh-so-stellar writing of my middle school science textbook. What's worse, the way she pronounces "circus" makes it sound like "suckass".  Which is actually pretty accurate. > <;

AND there's a bunch of techno crap that I can't make heads or tails out of, which sounds like out-of-tune robots accompanied by fingernails on a chalkboard. @ @

Well, that's all the songs I can remember off the top of my head.  Also, there was a big-ass thunderstorm earlier this evening.  Tornado warning and everything!  And the dorm's two resident stray cats were out in it!  Mom says they knew places to hide, but I'm still a bit worried.
